Christening (Baptism)
A christening is a service thanking God for the gift of life and marks the beginning on a journey of faith. Baptism is free however you might like to consider making a donation to the church.

Thanksgiving Service
If you don’t want the full commitment of baptism then you may like to consider a Thanksgiving Service. A Thanksgiving service enables you to give thanks to God for your child, for them to be named and blessed.

Weddings
A wedding is one of life's great moments, and a time of solemn commitment
On this their wedding day the bride and bridegroom face each other, make their promises and receive God's blessing. The Church welcomes the opportunity for you to make your solemn promises to each other not just in front of your family and friends but also in the sight of God and with God's blessing.

Wedding Blessing or Thanksgiving Service
If you were married in a Civil Ceremony you can express your love and commitment to each other and acknowledge God’s blessing in a church service.

Renewal of Marriage Vows
This is for couples who wish to renew their vows or give thanks for their marriage. A special Wedding anniversary may be a suitable time.

A monthly ‘Faith and Light’ group meets in the Parish Centre usually on the last Sunday of the month at 1pm. ‘Faith and Light’ offers a social time and worship for people with learning difficulties. For details ring 0161 420 2267.
